“Everyone has three lives. One public, the other private, the third secret.”
Gabriel García Márquez
Every day I work in a corporation and, unlike many other people, I like my job very much. Contact with people, lack of repetitiveness and pace make me like to be there. But it wouldn’t be like that if it wasn’t for the balance between work and private life. To have energy every day and keep up with the changing reality, I need a moment of silence. I find these moments in my travels as I explore new places. When choosing a destination, I am guided by the number of new things I can discover, see or try. From every trip, apart from memories and photos, I bring new flavors.
In addition to my activity, I also need time to reflect and slow down. Such a moment allow me to read. I love books! I surround myself with them, but above all, I read. I always have my beloved Kindle with me. You never know when there will be a moment to read. In the park, at the hairdresser’s, on the beach or a free afternoon on the terrace.
The real moments of joy, relaxation, and fascination, however, give me cooking and celebrating meals with friends. Cooking is a passion hasn’t been present in my life since always. I used to associate it with long hours in the kitchen, difficult tasks and lack of certainty that it would succeed. So I rather chose food prepared by others. Until one spring day. I had a great desire for Thai soup, but my favorite place was closed and I didn’t want anything unknown. I thought I would take a chance. I’ve got all day to myself… I’ll try it. I know the flavors. I read a little, checked where I could do my shopping and …
Cooking, preparing meals accompanies me every day. I like shared meals, I love to surprise with new flavors, connections. I even found a decent article about how to get fit fast. Moreover, I make sure that my guests also eat with their eyes.
In this place, I share my passion and joy.
I invite you!
